What this sample includes

This archive was generated by the live export service for a Queensland site. It records the result for every dataset currently offered, including layers that were assessed but had no features within this particular extent.

17 datasets accounted for

The included manifest covers cadastre, terrain, geology and soils, planning and hazard overlays, imagery, heritage, and easements.

Vector, terrain, and imagery

Alongside DXF, Shapefile, GeoPackage, and KMZ, the sample includes a GeoTIFF DEM, 500 elevation points, a DXF TIN, and georeferenced aerial imagery.

Honest empty-layer results

DATASETS.txt and datasets.json distinguish included data from layers that were assessed and had no mapped features at this site.

Current sample export showing aerial imagery, cadastre, contours, roads, planning zones, heritage, easements and the selected project lot
Rendered from the same GeoPackage and georeferenced imagery included in the downloadable sample.

  • kmz/ folder with one KMZ per exported layer
  • Root-level elevation raster and georeferenced aerial JPG with world file
  • DATASETS.txt, datasets.json, and COPYRIGHT.txt

Which format is for which workflow?

The same sample package is designed to support different software stacks, depending on how your team works.

DXF

Best for AutoCAD and Civil 3D workflows where you want parcel, contours, roads, and TIN surfaces in CAD-friendly geometry.

Shapefile

Best for traditional GIS workflows where you want one vector dataset per layer with the standard sidecar files.

GeoPackage

Best when you want a cleaner single-file GIS handoff instead of managing many individual shapefile components.

KMZ

Best for Google Earth and lightweight visual review when you want a fast, simple way to inspect the site and surrounding layers.

GeoTIFF Elevation Raster

Useful for terrain context, elevation review, and any downstream workflow that benefits from a clipped raster surface.

DXF TIN Surface

Useful when you need a terrain surface that slots directly into a Civil 3D-style modelling workflow.

When this sample is useful

Good for

  • Checking ZIP structure before purchase
  • Seeing how the four file types are packaged
  • Reviewing naming conventions with teammates or clients
  • Comparing the export against your GIS, CAD, or Google Earth workflow

Keep in mind

  • The sample is illustrative, not tied to your site
  • Actual datasets vary by address and source coverage
  • Not every export will include every output type
  • Elevation quality and available layers differ by area
